Graciellie Design Blog Hop & Giveaway

Today we've come together to celebrate the relaunch of Graciellie Design's Digital Shop. Gracie has come up with new digital stamp sets designed for cardmaking, scrapbooking, journaling, mixed media and even home decor. Today I am sharing couple of cards using one of her new sets, called Love.

I created this card using alot of patterned paper layers, tulle and silk ribbon. The frame around the sentiment is a Cricut cutout, several layers glued together and decorated with texture paste applied through the TH Damask stencil. The inspiration for design came from Ewa Mrozowska.

The second card I made is an easel card....I used various Spellbinders dies, patterned cardstock and lace ribbon...

The sentiment is from Graciellie Design's set Love.

This and other new digital stamp sets can be found at Graciellie Design's Shop. Remember to like and follow her shop to be the first to know about any new products.

Blue and White Elegant Christmas Card

Hello everyone,

Just a quick post of a Christmas card I made this season. I made very few Christmas cards this time and this is one of them:

I inked the edges of the base patterned cardstock with Faded Jeans Distress Ink, also the embossed parts of the Spellbinders Fleur de Elegance die cut, the Poinsettia flowers and the shabby bow...

I wanted to keep this card relatively simple, so that the beauty of the die cuts show off...

As you can see I tucked in here and there Branches by Martha Stewart ( I am quite disappointed with that punch, since it pretty much stopped working for me after maybe two hundred punches! It just does not want to cut)

I would like to enter this card into following fabulous challenges:

Card & Scrap Challenge #110 White and Blue

RRR challenge #132 "Look what I've got" Poinsettia die is something new

Retro Craft Shop Frost

with this gorgeous moodboard

Shabby Chic Birthday Card

Hello everyone,

Just a real quick post of a card I made for my best friend's birthday:

I used Cricut Sophisticated cartridge to cut out number 40. The background is created with Prima Finnabair Harlequin stencil and texture paste and when that layer was dry, I dabbed the surface with gesso to mute the colors, I treated the number cutout the same way... The sentiment was printed out on vellum...

I added baby's breath and handmade flowers around the focal numbers cutout...

Prima resin dress form embellishment is peeking behind shabby hand died bow...

I am entering this card into following challenges:

Deep Ocean Challenge #120 "Something New" (Prima resin embellishment is new)

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #267 "Something New" (Prima resin embellishment is new)

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Stencil It" (the background was created using stencil and texture paste)

The Sisterhood of Crafters "Something Old, Something New" (Old is the star crystal embellishment and the new one is Prima resin embellishment)

Try It On Tuesday "Letters and Numbers"

Anything But Cute Challenge #9 Ring out the Old, Bring in the New

Hello everyone,

It is time for another challenge at Anything But Cute and this month the host is our dear Anne.
Here is the description of this month's challenge:

To celbrate the New Year, we woulde like you to create a mixed media card or project using something "new", perhaps you got some fabulous new craft item for Christmas or you have something new that you have not used yet, just remember to tell us what the new item is!

And here is what I created:

I used the Spellbinders Sentiments 5 die that I got from my son for Christmas :)

Here is the new item close up...

I arranged different crafter's clay embellishments, shabby bow and handmade flower to complement my "hello" die...

The base for this card was made with a piece of distressed turquoise card stock. I used home made texture paste for the Prima Finnabair doily stencil, then I dabbed gesso to mute the color of the card stock. The last touch was randomly applied white paint...

Please stop by Anything But Cute to see what my team mates have made for this challenge and then, it will be your turn to show off your creations...
I hope you enjoyed this post...
Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by..
